(I recently got most of my boxes from Mom's, plus I've bought a few things on Ebay recently...) So I went through, dusted, and then proceeded to set up a portion of the collection FOR GREAT JUSTICE.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiZToWv338M2Onzhs2soZjTnshp24zrEzmZLxvpWTUqL7cOB1Av5pKejdzGW17jrNfHftDYwpcZXJuqsNiXWgi-VUViAZeYzf8ad4CGVBqzjeK2E22b_K3xtmKGiSK1ZIcsM_9/s400/shelf1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338370693377006546" />Top shelf! I will do one. :P... but I won't tag any of you, haha :)

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For the first question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button TWICE (and keep going)
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...just type it in man!

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE...?

1. Opening Credits:
BOOM - P.O.D. (Because, y'know, that's what I'm going to medal in, BOOYAH. I don't like this song being here. I want it to be a montage of all the different events that I competed in to win all of the gold medals in BOOM ever. And the song needs to be the Imperial March, like a certain ringtone is!)

2. Most of my pictures are of Zoey, and those were taken with a camera that my folks got me right around the time she was born. Its batteries have shit the bed though, so lately I've been using the cameraphone as my primary camera, which is fine because I usually just like taking pictures of goofy shit that I see. However, I really want the Olympus Stylus 850SW. It's shock-proof and waterproof. I'm hoping that the model we sell at work goes clearance after Christmas; $200+ is more than I'd really like to spend on a camera, seeing as how I don't take pictures, as previously mentioned. :) It's kind of obnoxious that it uses an XD card, since all of my cards are SD, as is the card reader on my laptop, but that's hardly a deal-breaker.

I spent all day yesterday catching up on the new Star Wars: Clone Wars movie and TV series. I like it a lot, actually. The style and animation is mostly awesome (sometimes CGI peeps walk funny) and a lot of the storylines aren't goofy or childish at all. I can see where some of the elements are annoying die-hard fans, but at the same time, it's a kid's show. :P It's been put into the 'remind me when I can download episodes of this' pile of scripts and feeds. :)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12772234549458993806noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505377.post-38674734579690971492008-12-05T10:26:00.004-05:002008-12-05T11:01:21.867-05:00If possible, I would rather sit and drink coffee all day instead of going to work tonight.I mean, really. It's a lot colder outside than it looks and I really don't like closing anymore. Plus I was off yesterday and I have the weekend off, so the urge to not go in tonight is certainly there. (Also, I really don't want to shave. I wonder if I can get away with having the MANLY SCRUFF tonight.) I'm currently missing a meeting, since it's scheduled while I'm not there. I'd like to point out that I am not upset about this, since meetings are usually just large bitchfests anyway.

In other news, I really want the Marshmallow Gun that is on w00t! today. I love how the sequence of presents goes like this:

12/1- BIRDCAGE (It's actually a pretty awesome birdcage too... it's got a perch and it's all regal with a crown that I neglected to put on until 12/19.)
12/2- BIRD (It's a macaw! He's made to sit on the swinging perch.)
12/3- FLOWER BED (Has some flowers, whee)
12/4- FLOWERY SHRUB (That fits into the big hole in the flower bed.)
12/5- PERSON (I think she is the princess, akshually.)
12/6- HER TIARA AND WATER DISH (To, y'know, water something... dunno what yet.)
12/7- PEACOCK (Tail back and walking)
12/8- FOUR DIFFERENT LITTLE BIRDIES (You kinda have to Tetris them into the box too.)
12/9- PEACOCK (All plumed up, y0. BLINGIN!)
12/10- FLOWER BED (Sound familiar?)
12/11- FLOWERY SHRUB (Yup, repeat! I think I'd get annoyed with the concept about now... a repeat sequence and a day of just accessories for a person. It gets better though.)
12/12- BIRDBATH (Also a really nice birdbath. It's filled with a translucent water piece that has ripples.)
12/13- BIRD STATUE(?) (It's a translucent bird of the same material as the water from the birdbath. I'm unclear if it is supposed to be a bird or a statue.)
12/14- FROG AND LILYPAD (I'm actually surprised that this wasn't split into two days at this point, haha.)
12/15- PERSON (I thought that this was a queen at first, given the next day's accessories.)
12/16- ROYAL CIRCLET AND APPLE BASKET (It looks more like a queen's circlet, as does she.)
12/17- PERSON (Except this is totally the queen, because....)
12/18- HER DRESS (It's a big billowing skirt that snaps around her, revealing her dress to actually be a slip, haha.)
12/19- HER FAN, BOW, AND HEAD THINGY (and....)
12/20- HER UMBRELLA (She's totally gotta be the queen, because her reveal takes FOUR DAYS.)
12/21- FENCE PIECES (They're the corral for the unicorns. Or a balustrade. Or a jungle gym.)
12/22- FLOWERPOT (With nice tulips I think)
12/23- UNICORN (I'm going to tell her that his name is UNICRON haha.)
12/24- BABY UNICORN (He hasn't grown his horn yet.)

It's awesome and I'm super excited. Plus I get to get her other sets too. :)

Of course, that means that I also got myself #3161- Bank Robbers! If they had the Haz Mat team, I'd have gotten that. (As an aside, the Roman Arena #4270! has made me put on Gladiator.)

Cheesy Taco Easy Mac is pretty alright. We ate pizza and played with vending machine ninjas. She has determined that a fairy lives in the bathtub pipe access panel along the right-hand side of the photo above. For real. It's apparently supposed to rain all weekend, so we'll see how much of it I spend on the bike. The canal towpath is pretty wide open as far as cover goes, so I'd basically get drenched if I was out for any amount of time. But I'm not sore, so hooray for my muscular awesomeness!

Of course, if it does rain, I can always go catch a movie. Speed Racer is apparently dirt, so I think I want to catch Prince Caspian instead. (Or IRON MAN again!) Really, I've just got a week to kill until Indy comes out. I do want to hit up Big Don's Wild River Adventure for some mini-golf action as well, but the rain would pretty much defeat that notion right away. I also have it in my head that I want to rent BOOM BLOX for the Wii, so perhaps I shall just stay inside all weekend and play that. We'll see. Friday is payday and I have mad text message abilitiez. So hit me up if you have a better idea. Or if you like one or more of the ideas above. Or if you want to get drunk and have wings. Beer and wings is always a plus. Maybe the pool table will be cleared off this time.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgI4kheglpKHJPP2fpyg7dF9rzPa-Y71oHVJsDta-YrGkj-isMaZh7idl6PdznSrWv5motKlYCBcvHsYkXLt_G7FAMd75t84Uw8uKXtTITkL-PnK5PYCdAhYfjfRVZBt5Nyt-z/s320/crystallake.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200339326707580194" />And finally, a tidbit that gives me the serious giggles. I've actually been meaning to post about this item for years. We've sold it at work for as long as I can remember and I'm actually kind of surprised that they still haven't changed the package. It's your average, run-of-the-mill, iron-on inkjet transfer paper for home t-shirt making. (At the old apartment complex, the guys down on the first floor made shirts with hardcore lesbian porno scenes on them.) However, all non-sequiturs about porno shirts aside, the really funny part here is in the picture on the package. Those kids are so happy that their parents have sent them to Camp Crystal Lake! (kii kii kii ma ma ma) Makes me giggle. It has now for years.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12772234549458993806noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505377.post-16330138623355789632008-05-13T15:27:00.003-04:002008-05-13T17:23:50.247-04:00I got attacked by some geese!
So it's an absolutely gorgeous day here today, coupled with the glorious occasion known only as "a day off." I decided to take full advantage of this pair of wonders and take OLAF for a long ass bike ride.

Unfortunately, the GPS Thingy crapped out, so I can only assume that I'm about halfway through seven miles or so. In any case, this is Green Lakes, NY. I had to kick at an angry gander along the Canal Towpath earlier. I'm going to be really sore tomorrow.

TJ out.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12772234549458993806noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505377.post-61285463159153704982008-05-05T16:26:00.008-04:002008-05-05T17:04:20.255-04:00Next time, baby, next time!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiarxaPyW1Tev9mab7YVV_q_NuDe7Swz0GEUwE0R_qfc119VhENdDL6QkJCMQDaq9r7tVRnBSkmn1ISflhijgYNL9oSF3TGXGnqO04tUDosyvrGQNRvFSPt5jbRD5aBAKQ6eHhF/s320/sign.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5196992966261639794" />It's displayed on the ad board at work. Gotta love it. Makes me giggle like you wouldn't believe: (Mobile Upload peeps have already seen this, whoops.)

In other news, go see IRON MAN. It's awesome. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was pretty good too. I'll use my newly adopted standard scale of review here:

Forgetting Sarah Marshall- $7.50 out of $9.50: Super funny. Could have done without the dong, haha.
IRON MAN- $9.50 out of $9.50: Go see it. Now.

Really though, IRON MAN is awesome and fully deserving of being typed in all caps. Not being a super deluxe fan of the comic, I won't pick the couple nits that my brother does, heh.

In other entertainment news, I got the R4 Thingy for my DS. It's a flash reader that lets me play homebrew games, go online, use the DS as a PDA, watch media, and, uh, test out games for a demo period, haha. Picked up a lot of DS games as a result of this, YAR, some of which are games that I wouldn't have ever touched otherwise.

So here we go with the same review scale: (Using the retail prices of course, avast!)

Professor Layton and the Curious Village- $30 out of $30: I like logic puzzles. I buy logic puzzle books. This is right up my alley. I log on every Monday for the new puzzle and I can't wait for the sequels.
Contact- $20 out of $20(?): I dunno if this game ever actually came out. I remember reviews for it, and I know some people who actually bought it, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. In any case, it's pretty, nice RPG with a lot of stuff to do. I might not ever finish it simply because I'm getting caught doing recipes and farming for cooking items.
NY Times Crossword Puzzles- $15 out of $20: I wouldn't have ever played this. I love crossword puzzles, but that shit gets left for free in someone else's newspaper in the break room for Bob's sake. However, it's fun for what it is. Makes me curious about the new CrossworDS game that comes out this week.

And finally....
The World Ends With You- $50 out of $30: Yeah, you read that right. This game is a joy to play. The art style is sweet and the music is awesome. (Hope you like j-pop!) The control is fresh, innovative, and spot-on. I'm a few chapters in and the story so far is pretty nifty. Squeeeeeenix outdid themselves with this one. I really only have one problem with it... I really suck at it. I mean, I can't get a decent battle rank for the life of me. At first I was all happy because I was getting E-ranks on battles until I realize that that shit doesn't mean 'excellent'. I might get better, but I can't manage both screens adeptly and leaving the top screen on autoplay doesn't help me get combo bonuses.

As part of IRON MAN WEEKEND, I rented the Wii version of the game. It's pretty well done, but it's really short. Rent it, or wait for it to hit the discount bins.

I also went bowling this weekend. That was awesome too. I started taking OLAF out for rides again. Between yesterday and today, I've probably biked a total of fifteen miles, which isn't a whole lot, but for my out-of-shape ass, it is plenty. Tomorrow I am off from work, so I will probably try to get the GPS mounted on the handlebars and get an actual distance.

So now I shall leave you with a picture of the GREATEST DRUMMER TO EVER PICK UP DRUMSTICKS:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYjy0PfSI0rdSwQsiYCD9jNM6p2ea8vgV4lhwm2dH_uSlWcn8dNHtbDWT4FlvLBp6au2q6t9rhFBZXiX4pigml6C4-i45TfLzmFMoRePbuCpFbg4kxH3Zi-_8sL9alV751QJEr/s320/Jeremy+051.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5197001229778717314" />
Check out the video too! :D
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12772234549458993806noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505377.post-68723720998575409512008-02-05T18:34:00.000-05:002008-02-05T19:14:25.758-05:00I wish that I got paid to read or to be introspective.I finished the Dark Tower books finally. (Well, sort of. I still have to read the comic trade paperback, The Gunslinger Born.) I may be in the minority on this one, but I actually like the ending.

In other news, the good old employer is opening a location up in Plattsburgh, where MEGA TODDLOR ZKAT lives. That's going to be in October, if I'm going to transfer, I need to make a decision and start the process by July or so. Just have to determine whether or not they're still going to be living there for a few years, because I really don't want to have to move again and then again a little while later. I really should have just moved there to start with when ZKAT was born, but I had the safety net of being able to move in with my parents in Syracuse. Still though, it's a long way away and I'm tired of only seeing my little girl every month or so. I'd rather it be every day or so. :)

I'm a bit worried about moving; it'll have been almost exactly four years since I've been on my own. (Not that I was ever really on my own, I always had roommates, but still... rent, utilities, etc.... BLAH) I need to start saving money now. At least the bills are finally going to be caught up this summer. All I'll have to worry about is child support and the car payment. I'm going to have zero furniture, it'll be awesome! Maybe I'll buy one of those futons when they go on clearance yet again this year, even if they pretty much suck. It's better than an airbed.

Of course, people at work are surprised that I'm considering transferring. I don't quite get that one, but whatever. :) Why wouldn't I want to be where my baby is? Plus there's the added bonus of not having to put up with certain people anymore, which is win/win, if you ask me.

And no, there's nothing to do up there. I mean, there are two things: jack and shit, and jack left town. As long as I have a library, my DS, and the Internets, I'm golden. Maybe I'll buy a boat. And we'll spend our summer days and nights looking for Champ. I'll have a tricorn hat made of leather, ZKAT will have one made of paper. Wanna come? :)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12772234549458993806noreply@blogger.com1
