Wanna hear something messed up?

So, I'm at work today, and we're pretty much right smack in the middle of the Christmas shopping season already. (Yeah, yeah, I know, Black Friday is the first official day, blah blah...) In any case, it was pretty busy today. (Plus, it's threatening snow and certain people insist on humming Christmas songs already. As has been stated previously, my choice for Christmas music is Fairytale of New York, by The Pogues.)

So I'm getting a pair of Christmas trees out of the stockroom for a guest, and I flashback to when I had to decorate the hotel's lobby. Basically, I had gotten all of the decorations at Target, as it was closest, easiest, and relatively cheapest. (Yay budgets!) All of a sudden, I actually missed running that stupid place. The same place that had me there for dozens of hours at a time, two packs a day, and watching my hair consistently turn from brown to gray; and I'm missing it because of the notion of being able to decorate my workplace for Christmas.

I really need to get out more. Or go run another hotel. They can't all be bad, right? Right?
